About Vdopa
Vdopa: The 333 Rooms is a browser puzzle game built on a simple belief: the joy of a puzzle is the moment the answer appears in front of you. We want everyone to feel that moment often, wherever they are, on a phone during a commute or on a computer at home.
Where the name comes from
Vdopa stands for Veiled Doors Of Perspective & Alignment, the heart of the game. Every code is hidden and only appears when you look from the right angle and line everything up. That is why the V of our logo is drawn like the peephole of a door.
How the puzzles are designed
The mansion has 333 rooms of 10 puzzles each. Hand-making 3,330 puzzles would take years, so we built a system that assembles puzzles from seven mechanisms and has software check every single one before it reaches you. The key rules:
- Every puzzle is solvable and has exactly one answer, confirmed by an automatic solver.
- Difficulty rises step by step. The difficulty score increases with every puzzle, and the average must rise on every floor.
- No repeats. Codes are unique across all 3,330 puzzles, neighbouring puzzles use different main mechanisms, and every room uses at least four.
- No single layer gives the code away. In layered mechanisms every letter is always spread across several layers.
- Fair for everyone. Every puzzle offers one magnifier, and you never pay to progress.
What we care about
Truly free to play. The website earns money from ads on content pages, and nothing interrupts you while you are thinking.
Privacy. We collect only what we need, and you can download your data or delete your account yourself at any time. See the privacy policy.
Accessible to all. Colour-based puzzles always add distinct shapes so players with colour-vision differences can play, the game respects your system’s reduced-motion setting, and it is available in Thai and English.
What comes next
Vdopa Rush, real-time puzzle races against other players, is now open. Next we are building camera and voice for Rush rooms, friends and leaderboards, and we plan Android and iOS apps. Follow the news on the articles page, and if you have feedback or find a problem, contact us. We read every message.
